Form Processing Platform for Medical Facilities

The aim of this thesis is to develop a system for automation and simplification of paper forms processing in cooperation with gerontological facility. The solution is an SaaS system, that provides tools to design paper and digital forms, managing them, fill them online or print it on paper and then automatically process scanned documents via OCR algorithm. It also provides a simple cloud storage and the integration with complex form and survey database Redcap. It is very important to design a user friendly interface and to perform a set of thorough tests with feedback from medical facility. Fundamental used technologies are ASP.NET (MVC) and C\#, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and MSSQL. The output of this work should lay the foundations to an ongoing startup.

The diploma thesis called Cluster Analysis Czech 100 Companies on the Basis of Financial Statements deals with the testing of two hypotheses using a multidimensional statistical method - cluster analysis. The input data for the application of statistical methods are financial statements of selected companies for the years 2014 and 2015 which are publicly available. These data are digitized and subjected to methods of financial analysis.

Data Source Analysis in State Administration

This diploma thesis tackles the issue of data sources used in state administration. Its
aim is to carry out a process analysis of data sources used in internal processes within the
Czech Social Security Administration authority (Česká správa sociálního zabezpečení) and
propose changes to optimise processes within the institution. The theoretical part of the
thesis defines communication between a citizen and public administration and describes its
basic elements. It also looks at the Process Management In Public Administration project
and the evaluation of applications for new ICT projects.
The practical part deals with the application of the theoretical findings to processes
within a particular body of the state administration, the CSSA. The resulting proposal to
optimise selected processes within the entire CSSA institution is based on a process analysis
of data sources from a branch of the District Social Security Administration office (Okresní
správa sociálního zabezpečení) as well as two case studies.
